Dana and Frans met through friends while couchsurfing in Jackson, WY. Their love for the mountainous backdrop made a wedding at her family’s cattle ranch a no-brainer. Located just outside of Sheridan, the ranch is at the base of the Bighorn Mountains near the Wyoming/Montana border. Their wedding day was reminiscent of a vintage western affair with cowboy boots, a teepee and New York Strip from the ranch’s own cattle. There were thoughtful touches all throughout the wedding that spoke to what brought these two together; like vintage tackle boxes and wicker creels filled with flowers for their love of fishing.  And they finished the night with another thing they both love to do…DANCE!! The band played for hours and when they finished, the bride’s brother stepped in and was the DJ until the wee hours of the morning. Once the music quieted and the crowd dispersed, Dana and Frans retired to their modern glamping suite beside the river. What a way to end such a beautiful and fun-filled day!
